Answers

How long does a complete overhaul take?

Normally we deliver an overhauled pump to the customer within 4 weeks. The actual processing time can be specified at the order confirmation.

Will I get back my injection pump?

Because of the elaborate processing of the individual parts, we usually deliver the injection pumps in exchange. This has no disadvantages for the customer. On special request, we process exactly the delivered pump, but has a much longer processing time because of the increased effort.

What do I have to adjust on an overhauled injection pump?

Normally nothing. The workshop has the option of adjusting the CO value during idling.

What should I watch out for when installing an overhauled injection pump?

When returning the injection pump, a leaflet containing the most important measures is enclosed. Also, the setting of end of injection (FE) is described exactly here again.

Can I make settings myself?

The adjustment measures should be limited to the correction of the CO-value. If you feel like you would like to carry out further adjustment measures, please contact us.

How long can I store an overhauled injection pump?

The pumps are, as we deliver them, well protected against external influences. Inside, everything is wetted with engine oil or with test oil. Both protect perfectly against corrosion.

Is the thermostat needed at the injection pump?

The thermostat is an important component in the system. It must be traversed by the hot air from the heat exchanger, otherwise the engine is constantly in the cold running phase and greasy. If you wish to operate without a thermostat, please contact us. We have the possibilities.
